Candle lit by Leslie Baron To the best father-in-law a daughter-in-law could have. Over the years we have built a lot of memorise. Memorise of your children, grand children and great grand children. Some of the memorise of sharingse funny little storise. Like when Martin, Daivd and Poppy would go huckelberry picking and Poppy would be say "save the huckelberrise!!" as he was sliding down the hill, or the many times the grand children would come over and stay the night and wear Poppy's angel T-shirts. the times when Poppy would be baking cookies, or making a spice cake. Poppy your #1 and will always be loved and missed by all. Love ya Poppy.
Candle lit by Katie Hass I remember the days when you had the swimming pool and you would open the back door and yell "you kids need to stop splashing water isnt free." Or Leo lion on the dash of the van.
Candle lit by Brian Baron Many people have heros like Superman, Spiderman or anothere, me I haave Poppy.
Pppy were always there when I needed you, never left my side, always there to lean on, and dry the tears I cried. I could always talk to you, you never seemed to mind, your voice so honest and gentle, your words so honest, wise and kind, I thought I'd never meet someone, as special as you are, you're my best friend in the whole wide world, you're my shooting star.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can;and wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful worldas it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things rightif I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next.
Amen.
